Georgie is a senior Human Resources professional with 30 years’ experience in leading multinational corporations.
In his last role, Georgie was the Senior Director, Human Resources, responsible for Pfizer’s Emerging markets in Asia. Before joining Pfizer, he was associated with the Nokia group for 14 years. In his last role, he was the Head of HR for Nokia Siemens Networks for Asia Pacific. Prior to that he was responsible for senior HR roles at the regional level for the group.
His earlier career included ten years with Unilever group in India, in various HR roles at the manufacturing units as well as corporate level. Prior to that he has worked with Eicher Goodearth and Larsen & Toubro. Of his 30 year professional career, fifteen years have been in Asia regional roles, based out of Singapore and fifteen years have been in India focused roles, based in various parts of India.
Georgie’s expertise covers large scale Recruitments, Organizational design, Restructuring, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Coaching & Mentoring, Mergers & Acquisitions, HR processes and policies, HR transformations, HR Information systems and HR outsourcing.
He graduated in Chemistry from Loyola College, Madras university and completed his Post Graduation, specializing in Human Resources Management from Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur, ranked among the top five management institutes in India. He has attended Management of People Programme conducted by INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and Human Resource Learning Partnership by RBL group (Dave Ulrich, Wayne Brockbank & Norm Smallwood) in Utah, USA
